Put the puppy on a lead when he goes out to pee. At the moment you are rewarding his behaviour. Be very low key and quiet when taking him out, at the moment he is training you! Make sure he gets plenty of exercise in the day, so sleeps deeper at night. Don't pet him or scratch him, or you will be doing this every night
