Would I be able to do scratch spins and crossovers with these skates?

errr... they are very cheap, and low grade skates. if you're JUST starting, then maybe... i can't tell till i have them in front of me, but they look like they're too soft for anything other than basic moves and forward crossovers. frankly, i wouldn't risk your ankle on it. you want a boot that looks like it'll give some decent support to your ankle. this means having a pair of skates that you will NEED to break in, but the support will help your skating a ton. just make sure it's not too stiff for your level or you'll never break it in
