Eye inflammation pain reliever?

My little bro has a medical problem, he is of 12 years. The doctors don't really have an exact answer for what it is. They say it might be the signs of junior arthritis. Anyways, he suffers from pain and pressure to his right eye. We have tryed all kinds of pain relievers and his medication hardly helps at all. I would appreciate any type of professional advice on how to mellow out the pain or what may relieve the pressure.
