Grammar experts, which of these 2 sentences is correct?

Corporal, I attend college on-line and we have a program to double check our grammar before turning papers in. I sent both sentences thru the system and both came back as correct. I think the question here is the emphasis and meaning the person asking the question actually means to portray. My opinion is that A. is better expressed because the sentence is suggestion a comparison between (Hawks and Cavs as opposed to Lakers). So, I would have to say that A. explains the meaning meant by the author better.
