I might be in big trouble. What to do?

Yesterday, I was playing baseball with a couple of guys in the neighborhood. My friend Porter hit a booming shot over the fence but we cant go over because of a giant man-eating dog. I then went home to get a baseball. It was my step dad bill's. I didnt know it at the time but it was signed by Babe Ruth, the greatest player of all time. I hit that ball out of the park. My first homerun but then i realized that I couldnt get my stepdads ball back. When I told my friends who the ball was signed by, they nearly killed me. I felt so sick when the reality set in that I might be killed by my step-dad. We have been trying everything. I even used an erector set to try to hurl the ball over but it didnt work. Now my friend Benny just texted me and told me that he had a dream and has a plan to get the ball back. Should I let him go for it knowing that he could die tomorrow??
