Im stuck on the first X-Men legends. Does anybody know anything that can help me ?

Im stuck on the part where you have to try to save Gambit and your fighting that mutant lady that doesnt like the X-MEN. She keeps an killing me and my friend when we have full health. If you have beat or ped this level on this particular game please help me.
