MIDI HELL!! How do I convert my wav files to midi files and transfer the data between my pc and my electribe?

I have a Korg EMX-1 Electribe Music Production Station that I produce original beats on. I also produce some using several software sequencing programs (Hip Hop Ejay 5 and 6). I bought the midisport uno usb interface, installed it successfully, but am having problems converting my wav files to midi files in order to actually perform the data transfer between the two. I've been trying to get this done for days and would appreciate ANY help. THANK YOU!
