What are the BEST baby/toddler items that are must haves and what are the ones that are a waste of money?

Right now, I wouldn't be able to get anything done in my house if it wasn't for my son's exersaucer. It took him a while to get used to it, but now he loves it and when I try to take him out of it he cries, lol
