Which of these programs should I remove from my computer to speed it up and work with McAfee. I need advice!?

I'm running IE8, Firefox, AT&T Yahoo, Yahoo. Are any of these browsers/programs obsolete or useless? Help me return my 'puter to great tool from pain in the b*** to use!
