Do ALL "asians" absolutely desire western features!? Has it ever been studied? no offence?

I don't know of any studies as such, but I think a coarse indicator of how a society views beauty might be found in movies made in that society. My own impression is that there is a general propensity across cultures toward slimmer waif-like models, but I don't see this is as a western feature. Sure, the yuppies may lean toward western traits, but they are a minority. The preferences of the larger population may not coincide with this select group and may be harder to gauge.
